Falling off the Motivation Train and Getting on at the Next Station

Things come up in life… things that can stop us from moving forwards. 

These challenges are laid down before us to test how committed we are to the cause.  These can come up as different things; your car breaks down and you can’t get to training, you get injured and can’t work out for a week, or you fall off the veritable nutritional bandwagon by indulging in one too many beers.  What do you do to overcome these obstacles?   Many do give up and say that it was never meant to be.  I’m sure you can even remember saying to yourself, “if it was supposed to happen then it would be so much easier than this”.

Goals=Success!!

 

Goals = Success!!

How many of you want to achieve the very best that martial arts has to offer? Who wants to be world champion in their given style, be a Hollywood martial arts superstar or be the next MMA heavy weight champion?

Well, it all starts with a dream…and then we need to write it down and, yes, we need to set goals.

I know what you are thinking… oh no, here we go… goal setting. This is a term that has been so over used that when it gets mentioned people often tune out.

Hello Martial Arts World…

 I want to welcome you all to my new website.  Thank you for coming along and having a look to see what The Mind Warrior Group is all about.

We are here to help you get the best out of your training, nutrition, competition fights and any other area that is crucial to being the best you can be in your chosen martial art. 

Let’s just suppose for a minute that up until this point,  you have done all the hard physical work.  You have been getting out of bed early to go for runs, you’re  attending productive training sessions and you are aware of what you should be eating  to keep your body fuelled with the nutrients it needs to keep the body strong. Now let’s suppose that you’re doing all of these things, with the occasional predictable minor lapses in diet and training.  But, even with all of your focus directed towards becoming an accomplished martial artist, you have plateaued.  Something is missing and you know it.  Your personal best is just out of reach and you don’t know how to get there – until now…

There is one area within your training, possibly the most IMPORTANT part, that you are either unaware of or are choosing not to address.
